Zhongqiang Hu has been working as Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University since 2017. He is a Senior member of IEEE, the standing director of the Intelligent Perception Branch of IEEE PES Power System Communication and Network Security Technical Committee (China), a member of the Intelligent Perception Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, and a member of the Energy Industry Sensor Committee of the China Sensor and Internet of Things Industry Alliance. He has been leading over 10 research projects, authored over 150 publications and 30 patents, and given more than 20 invited presentations. His research interests spread across the following fields.
(1)High-performance MEMS magnetic field sensing chips based on tunneling magnetoresistance effect (TMR);
(2)Ultra-high sensitivity magnetoelectric sensors and energy harvesting devices based on magnetoelectric coupling effect (ME);
(3)High-precision AC/DC current sensors and electric field/voltage sensors for electrical quantity monitoring and metering;
(4)Miniaturized acoustic resonant magnetoelectric antenna for low-frequency electromagnetic communication;
(5)Low-loss microwave ferrites, high-frequency power soft-magnetic materials and devices.
