Wen Zhao is an Associate Professor at the School of Instrument Science and Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. M. I. Younis. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at The University of Texas at Austin and later served as a JSPS International Research Fellow at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan from 2024 to 2026. His research focuses on nonlinear dynamics in MEMS, advanced micro/nano sensing and actuation technologies, multimodal sensing strategies, and MEMS applications in multiphysics environments. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals including Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Material, Mechanical System and Signal Processing, IEEE Electron Device Letter (2), Small, APL Materials, Diamond & Realted Materials, Sensors and Actuator: Physical A, Journal Applied Physics, Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering.
