Dr. Yu-Ming Kang currently works as Vice Dean & Professor of Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Basic Medical Sciences, Director of Shaanxi Engineering and Research Center of Vaccine, and Professor of National Key Discipline of Physiology & Key Laboratory of Education Ministry of China, Xi'an Jiaotong University. Dr. Kang previously worked as a researcher in The University of Iowa, Louisiana State University, and Kansas State University for 13 years.  Dr. Kang's research interests mainly focus on the mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases. His ongoing projects are supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. Dr. Kang has published more than 160 peer-reviewed papers in highly reputable international journals (SCI journals), and he has also published more than 100 papers in non-SCI journals.
