The Baekeland 2018 & The 6th International Symposium on Network Polymers was held from April 25-28, 2018 in Shanghai, China, which was hosted by Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, and Organized by the Society for Advancement Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), Beijing Chapter.

    Themed on “Bridging Laboratory and Industry”, Baekeland 2018 aimed at promoting the developments among all types of thermoset resins, not limited to the phenolic resins. Nearly 40 technical papers were reported in the symposium and more than 200 attendees from 7 countries participated.

     Four RGFPers, Prof. Jing, Prof. Liu, and Ms. Xiaoting Zhang and Ping Zhang attended the symposium, and shared the latest achievements of RGFP on the Progress in Phenylboronic Acid Modified Phenolic Resins.

RGFPers参加贝克兰2018国际研讨会

         2018年4月25-28日，由中国科学院化学研究所主办、国际先进材料与制造工程学会（SAMPE）北京分会承办的“贝克兰2018暨第六届热固性聚合物国际研讨会”在中国上海召开。

        本次会议的主题为“架起实验室和工业的桥梁”，旨在通过交流包括酚醛在内的各种热固性树脂研发的技术进展和应用趋势，搭建科研与产业界的桥梁。本次会议共组织了39篇学术报告和6篇大会特邀报告，来自7个国家的200位国内外学者和企业代表参加了本次研讨会。 

        RGFP的井新利教授、刘育红副教授、博士生张晓婷和硕士生张萍参加了此次盛会，井新利教授报告了研究组有关酚醛树脂的相关研究成果，报告的题目为“苯基硼酸改性酚醛树脂研究的新进展”。
