      Yesterday, a paper titled as ‘Role of non-bond interactions in the glass transition of novolac-type phenolic resin: a molecular dynamics study’ was accepted by Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research. Cheng Bian, the doctoral candidate of RGFP, is the first author. In this work, the molecular dynamics approach was adopted to study the non-bond interactions (hydrogen bonds and π-π/p-π stacking) in the novolac type phenolic resins, as well as their influence on the glass transition. The obtained results are beneficial to understanding the conformational nature of the novolac chains and the relationship of structure-thermal property of phenolic resin.

RGFP关于酚醛树脂的分子动力学模拟的论文即将刊登于Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research  

  日前,RGFP博士研究生边城同学的论文被ACS旗下的Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research期刊接受,论文题目为Role of non-bond interactions in the glass transition of novolac-type phenolic resin: a molecular dynamics study。该工作采用分子动力学方法研究了novolac型酚醛树脂中的非键作用(包括氢键和π-π/p-π堆砌)及其对树脂玻璃化转变的影响。该研究结果有助于理解novolac分子链的构象本质,以及酚醛树脂的结构-热性能关系。
