主要从事太阳能驱动CO₂/H₂O转化合成碳/氢高值化学品、太阳能驱动水氧化制过氧化氢、太阳能驱动碳减排及海水资源化利用、光热蒸发耦合CO₂还原/水氧化反应等方面的研究。在ACS nano、eScience、Applied Catalysis B：Environment and Energy、Advanced Materials、Chemical Engineering Journal、Energy等学术期刊上发表SCI论文十余篇，其中2篇入选ESI高被引论文（Highly Cited Paper），封面论文1篇（获Most Popular Cover Award奖励），申请发明专利14项，其中授权8项。目前主持国家自然科学基金项目1项，博士后面上基金1项，横向项目2项，以骨干成员参与国家重点研发计划2项，参与国家自然科学基金项目1项，。
