Research in my group will concentrate on the development of crystalline materials for advanced applications in radiation detection, radionuclide sensing, and separation. This will encompass the design, synthesis, and characterization of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and clusters.
Our efforts will target two primary directions:
(1) Radiation detection using radiochromic or fluorochromic materials.

(2) Radionuclide detection and separation leveraging fluorescent materials and porous materials, respectively.

Students with a strong interest in radiochemistry, nuclear science and technology, inorganic chemistry, or environmental chemistry are highly encouraged to join our research group.
