- 摘要:
- we presented a microreplication method to transfer the multiscale microvascular network of leaf venation into various synthetic matrix including biomaterial hydrogels. From our best knowledge, it is the first time to directly use nature optimized vascular network to engineer cell-laden microfluidic hydrogels. It was interesting to find that endothelial cells grew and spread well within the collagen-containing microfluidic network and simultaneously maintained their unique properties in transporting fluid in a pump-free bioreactor setup. These strategies were further used to engineer perfusable tissue constructs with dense populated cells. The biomimetic microfluidic network successfully functioned as convection pathways to perfuse culture medium, which is critical for the long-term viability of encapsulated cells.
