Dr. Hao Fan, Associate Professor, graduated from the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Nanjing University in June 2018, joined the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University in October 2018.

Research Interests:

① Development of key materials and devices for long-term energy storage technology of low-cost、 large-scale aqueous organic redox flow battery；

② Design and synthesis of advanced functional organic/inorganic electrode materials, research on energy storage mechanism of aqueous organic redox flow battery.

At present, Prof. Fan has presided over one national scientific research project, participated in many major research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the characteristic industrial chain of Shaanxi Province. Besides, Prof. Fan has published more than 20 SCI articles in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces and other high-level journals. More over, Prof. Fan has applied for more than 10 national invention patents, among which 5 invention patents have been authorized and 2 technological achievements are being transformed.

So far, the research team of New Energy Materials and Devices Prof. Fan in(Prof. Jiangxuan Song's research group of the Department of Materials Physics and Chemistry (xjtu.edu.cn)), has won the honorary title of Shaanxi Top Talent and Innovation Team (only two teams selected in 2020)、the Silver Award in the National  College Students Internet+ Innovation Competition and the Gold Award in the Provincial College Students Internet+ Innovation Competition.
