Liu Jing received the B.Sc. degree in Automatic Control in 1998 and the M.Sc. degree in Automatic Control in 2000 both from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2007 from the National University of Singapore, Singapore. From June 2006 to July 2008 she was a Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in National University of Singapore. She is currently a Professor in the Department of Automatic Control, School of Electronics and Information Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China.
