Chen Lina is a professor, doctoral supervisor, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Department of College of Basic Medical Sciences, Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center. Her research focuses on Endocrinological and Cardiovascular Pharmacology. She is mainly engaged in the research on the pathogenesis and drug prevention of metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, etc. During 2009-2010, she worked as a visiting scholar in Department of Pharmacology & Experimental Neuroscience, College of Medicine, University of Nebraska Medical Center. She learned American medical education methods for 3 months in 2015. She hosted or participated more than 20 projects from government fund, published more than 80 papers, in which 38 were indexed by SCI. She applied for 7 national invention patents, and participated in writing more than 10 textbooks.
