In March 2019, Bo Lin obtained Ph.D. from Xi'an Jiaotong University (Advisor: Prof. Yang Guidong). From 2019 to 2020, he served as a visiting scholar at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (Mentor: Prof. Liu Zheng). In 2021, he served as an associate professor at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He was subsequently selected as a Young Talent of Xi'an Jiaotong University, a high-level young talent of Shaanxi Province in 2022, and the chief scientist of National Key R&D Program Project of China in 2023. He has been engaged in research in the fields of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution, photocatalytic /electrocatalytic CO₂ conversion, and photocatalytic /electrocatalytic ammonia synthesis for a long time. He has published more than 40 papers in journals such as Nature, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., ACS Catal., Nano Energy, Mater. Horiz., Small, Appl. Catal. B: Environ., Chem. Eng. Sci. His H-index is 25. He has applied for/authorized 4 Chinese invention patents. He has won the first prize of Shaanxi Natural Science Award (3rd), the first prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award (6th), and the Excellent Paper Award of Chinese Journal of Catalysis. His doctoral dissertation was selected as one of the 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertations in Shaanxi Province, the "Chambroad dissertation nomination Award for chemical industry and materials" of China chemical industry society, and the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has presided over 8 projects such as the National Key R&D Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has been invited to give invited/oral reports at academic conferences more than 10 times. He is a member of the Chinese Chemical Society and a professional member of the Chemical Industry Society of China, and a young editorial board member of 9 journals such as Advanced Powder Materials, Nano-Micro Letters, and Rare Metals, etc.
