Ben Yang is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and the College of Artificial Intelligence, Xi’an Jiaotong University. He received the B.S. degree in Automation Science and Technology and the Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi, China, in 2016 and 2023, respectively. From 2021 to 2022, he was a visiting researcher with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interests focus on clustering methods for complex and large-scale data. He has published more than 20 papers in top-tier journals and conferences, including IEEE TIP, IEEE TKDE, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, etc. He has also led six national and provincial-level research projects. Dr. Yang serves as a Guest Editor for Signal Processing and regularly reviews for leading international journals and conferences, such as IEEE TIP, IEEE TKDE, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TCSVT, AAAI, etc. He has also served as an Area Chair of IJCNN 2025 and a Session Chair of ICIRA 2024.
