Zhishen Ge，Professor，PI，National High-Level Talents Special Support Plan

He obtained his PhD degree in the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at University of Science and Technology of China in 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Shiyong Liu, he then worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Peter X. Ma and Prof. Kazunori Kataoka at University of Michigan and University of Tokyo, respectively, from 2009 to 2011. From 2012 to 2021, he has worked in the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China as an associate professor. Since 2021, he has worked in School of Chemistry, Xi'an Jiaotong University as a full professor. He is current research interests are stimuli-responsive biomedical polymeric materials and their applications in drug delivery and tissue engineering. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers as the first/corresponding authors until 2024.
