Flexibleandstableenergyconversiondevicesarecorecomponentsfornextgeneration flexibleelec-
tronics. Perovskitesolarcellsusingformamidiniumleadiodide(FAPbI3) exhibitsuperiorpowercon-
version efficiency (PCE),butthestrenuousprocessofn-i-pconfiguration andtheinstabilityof α-FAPbI3
become inevitableobstaclesforpracticalapplicationin flexibleelectronics.Here,weforthe first time
report theparticularcrystalgrowthprocessof α-FAPbI3 grain withacontrolledsizeforthedevelopment
of flexibleperovskitesolarcells.Throughmorphology,elementandthermostabilitymeasurements,the
crystalline sizeand film homogeneityarefoundtomainlydependingondecentthermalenergyand
doping densityofmethylammoniumbromine.Additionally,stable “pseudocubic” lattice withlarger
crystalline sizeisestablishedowingtothevariedtolerancefactor.Wedemonstratedthatthe flexible
solar cellsexhibitinganaveragePCEof12.4170.52% (theoptimal13.03%),whichslightlydecreasedto
10.9871.00%(theoptimal12.0%)overonemonthat35%humiditywithoutencapsulation,basedonthe
modified α-FAPbI3 for mostefficient devices.Thisworkfavorstheunderstandingofthecrystalgrowth
kinetics of α-FAPbI3 for flexiblesubstrate,andpavesthewayforpotentialapplicationof flexibleelec-
tronics.
