The synthesizing kinetics of lithium manganese nickel oxides in dynamical oxygen atmosphere was studied by means of DTA with different heating rates, and it could be applied as an important theoretical principle for preparing LiMn2O4 derivants. Using Doyle-Ozawa method and Kissinger method the active energies of four reaction process are53.110kJmol-1,132.341kJmol-1,271.887kJmol-1 and 1033.766kJmol-1 respectively. Reaction orders, frequency factors and kinetic equations of each reaction were determined by using Kissinger method. XRD, FEM, and electrochemistry tests showed that the LiMn1.95Ni0.05O4 synthesized with solid-step-sintering method has a pure phase, well-distributed particle, regular appearance and good electro-chemistry properties, whose first discharge capacity is 117.5mAhg-1, and its capacity retain rate of 50th cycle is 95.1%. The influence of element of nickel on Jahn-Teller of LiMn2O4 was discussed in the viewpoint of structural chemistry.
