Two proposed mini-symposiums for NUMIFORM 2019 received plenty of supports from friends and colleages all over the words. For the first mini-symposium organized together with Prof. F. Barlat about Modeling of the Anisotropic Behavior in Plasticity, 26 abstracts are received, and 38 abstracts are received for the second mini-symposium about Ductile Damage and Fracture: Experiments, Modeling and Numerical Prediction coorganized with Prof. Pierre-Olivier Bouchard of CEMEF, Dr. Jinjin Ha in University of New Hampshire, Prof. Yannis Korkolis in University of New Hampshire, Prof. A. Erman Tekkaya from Technical University Dortmund, Dr. Till Clausmeyer from TU Dortmund University, Prof. Carl LaBergere from Univ. Technologie Troyes, France, and Prof. Houssem Badreddine from Univ Technologies Troyes.

General number of abstracts for a mini-symposium is between 10 and 20, and rarely goes beyond 20. Therefore huge supports from our friends and colleages contribute to the success of our mini-symposiums.

Also the abstracts are from all over the world and China contributes one third or less of all presentations. That is really good for this international conference.
