Prof.Martin A. Crimp, the rank of Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science of Michigan State University, and foreign supervisor of Dr.Xueliang Wang in our group, visited our group on June 11.He gave two excellent lectures:(1) The Role of Grain Boundaries in the Heterogeneous Deformation in Titanium and Titanium Alloys: Comparisons between Experimentally Characterized and Modeled Behavior;(2) Electron Channeling Techniques for Orientation Analysis and Defect Imaging in the Scanning Electron Microscope. Further cooperation to be expected to expand.
