Our recent work on High-Speed Wireline Building Block -- 130-GBaud 2:1 Analog Multiplexer in 130-nm SiGe BiCMOS -- is presented at ICTA 2021 by first-year Ph.D. student Kanan Wang.  ICTA 2021 is held in Zhuhai this year and will be moved to Xi'an in 2022.

Abstract:

A 130-Gbaud 2:1 analog multiplexer (AMUX) with four-level pulse-amplitude modulation (PAM-4) in a 130-nm SiGe BiCMOS process is presented. A number of ultra-high speed broadband techniques are used, which allow 130-Gbaud operation while consuming 1-W from a 3.3-V supply. The bandwidth is improved to 70-GHz by employing the degenerated resistance and capacitance in the emitter coupled logic (ECL) buffer.
