Xiang Wang, PhD in Medical Psychology, was graduated from the Medical Psychological Institute of Central South University (National Clinical Research Center on Mental Disorders [Xiangya]; National Center for Mental Disorder). He is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Social Psychology, School of Humanities and Social Science, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and has been selected for the university's "Outstanding Young Talents Program". His research lies at the intersection of clinical psychology and cognitive neuroscience, focusing on the psychological and neural mechanisms underlying mental health problems using interdisciplinary approaches. He led a project funded by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities and has participated as a key member in five other projects, including those supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation etc.
Xiang has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers and served as a peer reviewer or academic editor for several high-impact journals in the field (e.g., eBioMedicine, Depression and Anxiety, Psychological Medicine). Please find the publications at Google Scholar.
