Viscoelasticlaminatedsandwichcompositestructurehasbeenusedasanewclassofhigh-effi-
cientstructuraldampinginthepassivevibrationcontrolsystems.Thisworkaimstoinvestigate
transientthermo-viscoelasticresponsesofviscoelasticlaminatedsandwichcompositestructure.
Theeffectsoffractionalorderparametersandmaterialconstantsratioonthestructuraltransient
thermo-viscoelasticresponsesareevaluatedanddiscussed.Foreachhomogeneousisotropiclayer,
thegoverningequationsareformulatedandsolvedbyLaplacetransformationtechniques.The
resultsareexpectedtoprovidenewinsightsonthevibrationcontrolandthermalmanagementof
