Yanqiang Li, male, born in 1987, is a native of Linyi, Shandong Province. He received his Ph.D. degree and is currently a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor in the Department of Urology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University. In 2024, he was selected for the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas). He currently serves as the head of a bioinformatics research group and has long been engaged in RNA bioinformatics research, with a focus on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer and related human diseases.
Dr. Li obtained his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics in July 2016 from the Shanghai Institute of Blological Sciences(SIBS), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University (August 2016 – July 2018), Houston Methodist Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical College (July 2018 – October 2020), and Harvard Medical School / Boston Children’s Hospital (November 2020 – October 2022, Postdoctoral Fellow; October 2022 – March 2025, Instructor and Scientist), where he accumulated extensive interdisciplinary research experience. In March 2025, he joined the Department of Urology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University.
