摘要:
Spring type operat ing m echanism  is w idely used inhigh voltage circuit breakers. We investigated displacem ent  characterist ics of movi ng contact in opening and closing operation and how  it is  influenced by design of the spring type operating m echanism .  Dynamics m odelsw ere set up todemonstratethe relationship bet w een displacem ent charact erist ics including initial opening speed,  average openi ng speed, average closing speed and desi gn param eters of operating m echanism  includingcontact spring, over-travel, opening spring, cam  and dam per etc. Our simulation resul ts show that the initial velocity increased significantlyas over-travel and preloadof contact spri ng increased. The dam per  and the cam  can be desi gned to get asuitabledisplacem ent  characterist ic of m ovable contact.
