经过两年多的准备，由来自中国、日本、法国、澳大利亚、挪威、丹麦、瑞典、伊朗等国家的多位再结晶领域专家共同完成的英文书籍终于出版了。作者中有三位是再结晶国际会议学术委员会成员，另有两位委员不守信用最后时刻放鸽子了。比较遗憾的是没有如愿把镁合金、钛合金、高温合金、非晶合金及高熵合金等金属的再结晶研究加进去。
