Jin Su is a professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Xi'an Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on the design and synthesis of battery materials, catalytic materials, and thin film materials, particularly their electrochemical and electrocatalytic behaviors in energy conversion and storage systems, as well as the visualization of and mechanistic insights into interfacial physicochemical processes.
He received his PhD degree in Chemical System Engineering at the University of Tokyo, Japan, and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan, the University of Oxford (2020-2023), and Imperial College London (2023-2025).
