been successfullysynthesized.ByadjustingthecomponentsoftheNWs,itisfoundthattheCo
(S0.73Se0.27)2 NWs onCFPexhibitthehighestelectrocatalyticactivitytowardshydrogen
evolution reaction(HER).Todrivethecurrentdensityof100mVcm2, theCo(S0.73Se0.27)2
NWs onlyrequireasmalloverpotentialof157mVin0.5MH2SO4 solution andthecorresponding
Tafelslopeisonly45.3mVdec1. After20hcontinuouselectrolysisorcyclingfor5000timesin
acid electrolyte,therobustcatalyticactivityisstillperfectlypreserved.DFTcalculationresults
demonstrate thatthehighintrinsicactivityofCo(S0.73Se0.27)2 NWs towardsHERisderivedfrom
the significant reductionofkineticenergybarrierinducedbyaniondoping.Thisworkpresentsa
new efficient catalystforHERandtheaniondopingstrategyimplementedherecouldbe
extended tootherearth-abundantelectrocatalyststoimprovethecatalyticperformance.
