- Summary:Near-equal atomic ratio of TiNi alloy has good shape memory effect, superelasticity, fatigue resistance, biocompatibility, radiopacity and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) compatibility. It is the fastest growing material in interventional treatment of angiocardiopathy. TiNi alloy assemblies sense and actuating functions. It appears shape memory and super elastic shape recovery macroscopically. Medically, the self-expanding stent of shape memory TiNi alloy can avoid the traditional stent inflation due to the radial recoil of the withdrawal of balloon [1]. TiNi superelastic self-expanding stent continously dialates to deteriorate the pathological lumen, which can effectively suppress the restenosis
